2020 Sammy Peoples Choice Nominee, Cathie Timian is a Central New York based vocalist/musician, that performs a variety of music for dinner parties, restaurants, galleries, cafes, wineries, breweries, festivals, concerts, and private engagements.

Cathie is a seasoned vocalist/musician and must hear performer! The timbre and tone of her voice is unique to the blues, but she also performs Rock, Jazz, Rockabilly, Pop and more! She makes you feel every word she sings! Her distinct voice and musical style will charm the hearts of all.

Cathie was heavily involved in the local music scene and ran various groups both online and off, until the pandemic hit. As a music enthusiast who excels at connecting people together, Cathie is the owner of Mohawk Valley Open Mic and hosted a variety of local open mics in the area and she is also the host of the new show Local & Live with Cathie Timian, a podcast where she interviews, and promotes local original artists and their music.

The Cathie Timian Band is 4 piece eclectic musical group that plays a variety of genres. The group plays everything from rock, & country to blues and americana!

The Blues Troubadors/ The Blues Crew

The Blues Troubadors is a musical duo/trio that plays old school blues and americana. The Blues Crew is a fun acoustic blues group that plays old prohibition era blues along with some old americana. The group consists of the talented John S. Gillespie (guitar, harp, steel slide guitar, vocals), Neon John Handzel on Bass and CathieTimian on Vocals

The Hired Hands is the moniker used by Cathie for musicians she surrounds herself to work with. Cathie performs a variety of musical acts with the Hired Hands; Duo/Trio/Quartet etc. These talented musicians will surely show you a good time!
